Summer Camp Registration Information

Thank you for registering with Melva Smith School of Dance Summer Camps! 

  • We have received your registration and the details are summarized below. 

  • Any multi-camp registration discounts will be applied by our staff before processing fees.

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE INFO:
Please put our very important mini-recital date of the Friday of the camp week on your calendar! 
That Friday, all dancers will be dropped off as usual at 9:30 am. 
We will rehearse and prep our studio for our show.
Parents return at 11:00 am for a  short but awesome performance!
Dancers are dismissed to go home with their fans at the conclusion of the show, approximately 11:30 am.

LUNCH INFO
Lunch, lemonade, and water are provided Monday - Thursday. 
That menu can be found on our camp page. 
Please let Miss Rachel know of any food allergies. 
Dancers are always welcome to bring their own snack and lunch. 

CLASS ATTIRE INFO:
Any colored leotard,
Either tights, dance shorts or dance pants
Ballet skirts are allowed
Pink Ballet shoes
Black Tap shoes with any laces removed and replaced with tied elastic
Black jazz shoes are optional. They can wear their pink ballet shoes for jazz.
Hair up away from their face
If you're in need of new dancewear we recommend Suffolk Dance Boutique located at 2325 S Stemmons Fwy and Round Grove Rd. in the shopping center with Barnes and Noble and Hobby Lobby.

Fall Class Registration Information

  • Your annual registration fee and first month's tuition will be deducted within 21 days to hold your dancer's spot in class.

  • Classes begin Tuesday, September 3rd

  • Please put our very important recital date of Saturday, May 16th on your family calendar. That day is also dress rehearsal at teh theater for level one classes and up.  preschool and kinder classes have dress rehearsal in the studio during class time.
