Rachel Smith Allison is now the owner/director of MSSoD after 23 wonderful years of working with her mother Miss Melva!  She also teaches ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater and beginning hip hop. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in dance and voice from the University of Oklahoma. (Boomer!)


Before settling down to teach Miss Rachel spent over a decade touring the country as a professional singer, dancer, and actress. 


Beyond dance, Musical Theater is her passion. She has appeared in numerous roles in the Dallas area including several seasons with Dallas Summer Musicals kick off cast, Lyric Stage as one of the Dallas Divas, Garland Summer as Rose in Bye Bye Birdie and Minnie Faye in Hello Dolly and Garland Civic as Maggie in A Chorus Line.


Jessica Wooldridge is the studio assistant director as well as director of our award winning MSSOD Coppell Performance Company.  as well as the  director of our Senior Company "Ultima" and our  mini company "Premiere".

Miss Jessica teaches drill team and kick in addition to jazz, ballet, beginning pointe and tap. 

Melva Smith has taught classical ballet and related dance forms in her studios throughout the Southwest, California and Europe. Her dance and theatrical training has included study with many of the most renowned and eminent masters in the field of dance. 


Miss Melva has been teaching in the Coppell and Richardson areas for over thirty years and is thrilled to now be teaching second and third generations of families!

Emily Bariel grew up at MSSoD and now teaches Contemporary, Kindergarten Super Combo and directs our boys hip hop.


 Miss Emily also performs with Epiphany Dance Company and holds a degree in Dance from UNLV.

Vivianna Lubertino teaches advanced and intermediate ballet and pointe. 


She was a Principal Ballerina at Municipal Theater in Santiago, Chile as well as a Member of Numerous Corps de Ballet, Performing as a Soloist and in Leading Roles
